Water Based VOC Free Crosslinking Agent
CSICL-01 is a non-toxic and environmentally friendly waterborne crosslinking agent with functional group of carbodiimide. CSICL-01can crosslink with the resin containing carboxyl groups which helps to improve water/chemical resistance, abrasion resistance and adhesiveness

Environmental friendly waterborne coatings or finishing agents are deficient in water resistance, solvent resistance, wear resistance and other aspects. Currently, the effective solution is to improve the coating performance by adding cross-linking agents. The crosslinking agent can react with various polymers to form a network structure, improve the molecular weight and improve the comprehensive properties of water-based coatings.

Polycarbonized diimine is an environmental friendly crosslinking agent with properties such as low toxicity, zero VOC, easy dispersion in water system, the activation period is long and curing conditions is mild. The coating after crosslinking obtained excellent chemical resistance, abrasion resistance and resistance to hydrolysis, the strength of which is also significantly improved. Therefore, polycarbonized diimine becomes an ideal crosslinking agent for high-performance coating agent.
